- Emmanuel College is a private, four-year Christian College with an Evangelical, Pentecostal foundation. Committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Founded in 1919 by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
- The academic mission of Emmanuel College is to inspire students to become Christ-like disciples who passionately pursue their studies as a form of worship, understanding class work and homework as daily opportunities to show their love for God with their whole minds.

- The college is located on an attractive 150 acre campus in Northeast Georgia. The Shaw-Leslie Library provides information services to students, faculty and staff of Emmanuel College as well as the community. The library has a collection of over 80,000 volumes including books, music scores, cassettes, disc recordings, video tapes, DVDs, electronic books, and other multimedia materials. Periodical resources include current paper journal subscriptions, newspapers, microfiche, indexing and full-text access contained in the databases of Galileo. Library services include circulation, reference, library orientation, and interlibrary loan.
